Klingon Captain Klag of the I.K.S. Gorkon, a new inductee to the Order of the Bat'leth, must face off against his fellow Klingons when his old rival, General Talak, orders him to go back on his word to the Children of San-Tarah to conquer their world.
Captain Klag, commander of the I.K.S. Gorkon, becomes caught in the middle of an impending conflict between the Klingon Empire and the Elabrej, a mysterious alien civilization, after an unexpected skirmish between the Gorkon's brother ship, the I.K.S. Kravokh, and an alien vessel.
The Klingon Empire is revealed as never before when the captain and crew of the I.K.S. Gorkon finally return to their homeworld of Qo'noS in a sweeping tale of intrigue, love, betrayal, and honor.
Nine new Star Trek captains belly up to the bar to tell their tales of adventure and romance, of triumph and tragedy, of duty and honor, of debts paid and prices exacted.
